Neat covering Brian. Where do all these models live? You would have a few now.

John, I've started to give some of my planes away - Ha.  My wife asks the same question and tells me they can't overflow out of my shop room  Smiley

Tonight I'm going to shrink the tissue.  The plane in now fully covered - less some silver highlight striping.  I'm hoping the area on the wing where the blue meets the checkered smooth's out.  I'm very pleased with all the other covering except this spot.  I applied the tissue dry, so I'm hoping it works.

I had some issues with shrinking the tissue last night that are new to me.

The tissue is Easy Built tissue which is 'softer', but in three places on the fuselage it ripped when shrunk.  Also you can see in the first photo the tissue stretched to be so thin you can clearly see the wood.  I decided to add a reinforcing 'stripe' as my fix.

Your design/building skills exceed the quality of your materials.  I'm really impressed by this build.

It looks very nice and clean. Hope that the structure is not warping.
Firts flight is coming closer. Make sure to take a camera with you. This one will look neat in the air. I assume it will fly as fast as it looks?!

Roman:  I got lucky and have no warps!!  Smiley

Here are some photos of my progress before and after the Holidays.  Close to being complete now.  The second canopy plug is for my Nemesis which has been waiting for a good canopy.  I'm hoping the additional material will help at the sharp lower corners.

And some shots from end of day yesterday.  I just need to vacuum form and attach the canopy.

While is was stalled on my Gee Bee Z build, I bit the bullet and finally successfully vacuum formed a canopy and completed the build!!!!  Smiley   My local supplier is out of clear, so I opted for blue.  I like the way it turned out.

The canopy really finishes it off Brian. Very effective.

Drum roll please........... 45 grams with landing gear  Angry   I'd guess that there is at least 16 grams of lead in the front cockpit to get the plane to balance.  Even then, the balance point is extremely touchy.

I don't think she's destined to fly.  If I tried, she would fly like a dart.
