After our visit to the Nationals on the way back home, on the boat crossing the Channel we discussed the plan to build a Sperry Messenger. Based on the kit by Modela. In fact it was a plan to release Wijnand de Joode from a large stock of kits in the addict. Smiley

In the end there were not enough kits. I copied the drawing and cutting plans for the laser. In total 8 sets were cut. In the end only 5 where build. (Jan-Willem Roest, Gert Brendel, my sons Merrijn en Mirdin and myself

After the great success of the Sperry Messenger in Co2 and the rubber version of Jan-Willem, the idea of a Peanut version came up. I do have to say that my good friend Roel had to do some convincing coaching in the finalizing and realisation of the plan.

Decreasing the size to Peanut was not that difficult, byt boy, the building proces.... Shocked  I am not convinced that the Peanutsize will be my preferable building size Tongue

But finally, it is ready for covering Smiley and boy Am I pleased with my new improved covering clamps Smiley

I do hope to have it finished before the Nationals this year and hopefully I am able to visit it this year.

Good am Brinkie. How long does it take to print out a set of clamps? Is it efficient or a love labor?

Interesting!  Is there also a magnet in the base of the clamps?
