Not that these are truly ever done, but I'm calling this one finished. - at least the build portion.

It weighs in at 41.4g - I gained extra weight by overlapping the strips of tissue around the fuse... it's pretty close to being two layers of tissue and I'm sure airbrushing the little fade of color added a little bit too.

My one initial test glide was very promising - fairly flat at about 45'.  Supposed to rain this weekend so no telling when I can get a chance to put some power to her.

Viscous timer, I believe the Munson Badge timer.  It's rigged up for a pop-off wing.  This was the first time I've used a timer and think I'm gonna LOVE it.   I've performed 5 different tests -on different days and varying conditions (temperature varied about 20 degrees F) and all results were within 1 second of my 2:00 target.

Nice! Pop off wing is the way to go.  I'm sure it will work great. Wait till you see the DT pop the first time. It's pretty cool. The plane looks like somebody shot it.  Wing starts to spin and down it comes unless your in a huge thermal!

Looks great - I bet you can't wait for some decent weather.
