My own thoughts exactly!   Grin

Hanging on in there .... as much as I love the hobby, I can't "fiddle while Rome burns". I might be winding my business up in it's current form if things carry on as they are re. Weather, Corona, health etc. It's been a bad winter for me and my daily commute doesn't make sense with the limited return I've had recently. I could have stayed at home and just built models .... now there's an idea ....

With silly folk out there panic buying toilet roll, the first thing to go is 'luxury' buying .... not many out there today wanting to commission a portrait of their pooch! Undecided

I have made some progress with the wings ... but they are pretty uninspiring things!

I started making up a pair of wheels for the DH6 with a deeper dish than I normally would .... then realised I had picked up my jig for 31mm wheels rather than the 25mm dia needed!
I normally make them up more symmetrically dished, so it was a good exercise!

A significant increase in orders today! ... back to the Andy Bruce Book of Excuses! (A guy I used to work with who had a catalogue of excuses for not going out on site jobs ... aka The Olympic Flame!)

As I prepare for the FAC Nats coming up this July, I will jump here and sign up with Walt Mooneys  Andreasson BA4B as I plan to fly it in the Goodyear Race mass launch event. It should look like one racing as G-YPSY over in the United Kingdom. This is my second build of the racer so should be a smoother build. Sure hope so anyway.

Hi Flyace ... sorry I'm late to respond. You may have noticed that this is not the cookup thread by now? Smiley

I will concentrate on the cookup thread now.
a) to avoid crossover posts.
b) to get my Mooney cookup model done!

Again, apologies for venting my frustrations ... it's a reputation I probably deserve in recent years, but I am trying to shake it.

In the last few days I have stripped enough balsa to complete at least a few models in my now senior years .... over 1000 short strips I think.

If I set something up and it works, I do enough to last to make the setup time worthwhile!
This is just a fraction of my output in the time since a last completed scale build.

Look at them beautiful props!!!!!
