Hopefully pictures will come through. This is my F6F Hellcat from a Mike Midkiff
short kit. Excellent kit and plans. Graphics are Alex Vraciu's "Gadget" from Callie
Graphics. Vraciu was the Navy's top ace at age 25 with 21 kills.

Very neat Ed, it's a great flyer, I have fond memories of Iron Mike flying mine when he visited OZ a loooong time ago.

Does anyone that has built the Hellcat from Mike's plans or short kit have model
weight, without rubber, and the motor size you used. My plan is to use
a short motor, prop to peg length, for initial testing, I have the glide looking
good, now time to get thrust settings before going to long motor. Thanks for
any help.

Hi Ed

Mine weighs in at 120 gm w/out prop and motor.
Does have nose ballast.
Ck with Walley Farrell on how it flies.

Thanks Mike, mine weighs about the same, had to add nose weight as well.
I will check with Wally on the flight trim.
