What a effort - great fillets and windscreen as well.

However I do have a complaint to make in reference to the attempt to steal the crown of Procrastination. I believe I have a better claim with a model partially finished (well started) that has been sitting on it's building board for over a year!

Also I have been awarded a Certificate of Procrastination by the lost society of the Royal School of Procrastinators some years ago but have yet to pick it up.

Cheers

Well here it is at last, finished except for trimming and flying. As predicted it is a bit (lot!) porky at 4.8g without rubber. That is not all as it balances a little behind the suggested CG position on the FSI Staggerwing plan so if that is accurate it will still need some noseweight. My only defence is that it meets the new rules for BMFA competitions which penalise single covered flying surfaces. Also it is built as well as I can to the true outline with no enlargement of tail surfaces so it should get a reasonable static score. A slight dihedral on the lower wing is the only change from scale.

Now I just have to persuade it to fly....

Little beauty!! Very nicely done, Tim. I’ve still no idea how people build that small and neat.
Weight sounds good to me too. (In fact, after a fairly typical session in my workshop, I think I’ve just sat here and peeled about 4.8g of glue off my fingers.)

Absolutely delightful. You don't really intend to risk it in the air, do you? Smiley
