Very impressive finish Don. The tissue looks realistic and then there is the weathered painted props!
Merry Christmas

Yes, not bad at all young fellow. I wonder why a number of your photos feature an empty (beer?) glass in them? I do however particularly echo the sentiments of the gentlemen from the antipodes. Recalling Bernards offerings it seems to be a quality enjoyed by Canadians?

Truly impressive museum quality work, Thank You for sharing the photos.
One question: I noticed you have the left wing props turning clockwise. Was wondering why? If this was answered somewhere back in this thread I apologize for being to lazy to go back and read the whole thing.

Good am Don, way to keep pecking at it! Its like reading the Bible or Moby Dick isn't it. You can put it down and come back to it even years later, and your approach or view point can shift a little, or you can do a system recall and carry on as it were. Some character you are building into an already charismatic and storied airplane! and the affection you have for the craft shows! Are those the flying props?

Lovely Don. We have some long grass at our field in Abbotsford........ ....under water at the moment, of course.

Hi Dan,
Sorry didn't answer your question. Generally I make props that turn 'over the top out' for models with multi props. Using this type of arrangement means I only have to provide some 'down' direction with the props because the need for 'left' and 'right' cancels out.
Hi Crabby,
Yes, I think I will use these props. I have some 'printed' 3 bladed props (left and right) but the plastic is quite brittle. If I break all my wooden blades, I might have to try the printed props. Failing that will have to dig up some 2 bladers, but that will require a re-trim because they all would turn in the same direction.
Cheers, Don

Don, with all the drone action going on, I have noticed in peoples' garbage, (on garbage day of course) broken, misused, or just plain neglected out of boredom, drones of all sizes. They all have counter-rotating props on them so I salvage them. I haven't seen any small enough to work on your Flying Fort, but they are out there. Its a good source for counter-rotators.
