Good luck with the recovery from the latest foot operation Dave.
It looks like nothing is simple with the Zwilling! One lot of wing fairings would be enough - two is a bit of a pain!
This will look unique in the air!

Thanks for your interest fella's, I've been able to do enough to post a report on the Zwilling. The rudders have been fitted and I made up a simple jig to mold both the rudder and tail plane fillets, also I fitted some strips of plasticard so simulate the elevator hinges. Eventually I managed to get one of the fuses caught in my swivel chair and crushed a couple of longerons, had to happen eventually! Finally I've fitted the 2 outboard nacelles and then did a mock up with the wing panels fitted.

Well I'm still going if only slow.
I carved out a blank for the underside Gondolas and molded them from 1 mm clear plastic, Photo 1
The He111Z does not use the internal bomb racks but it does carry 4 900 litre drop tanks so I added some balsa mounts and then sanded them to shape, Photo 2 and 3, also shown in photo 3 are the Drop Tank mounts made from .5 mm alum. Photo 4 shows the completed Drop Tanks, I managed to find a day that a hospital visit wasn't required and got stuck in spinning them up on the lathe and molded the nose cap from plastic all in one go, but I forgot to take any Photos! Final 2 photos Show the Drop Tanks fitted. I glued the tanks in place using the Alum mounts to hold them in place and after they were dry I drilled two 5mm holes in each tank passing through the blister on the fuse and glued a 5mm dowel that passed right through them to hold them in place,

Dropped in to the Putterill household last evening and persuaded Dave to pose for a pic or two!
The Zwill looks great and Dave showed me a box full of formers/plugs etc for the exhaust/cowl/fairing bits.
There is a danger with this model that Dave might just keep on adding more wings and fuselages and nacelles. He's tooled up for it, so be afraid! :-)

That is one impressive model. I am curious as to how you plan to launch it given the size and area covered. At least you do not have the rubber motor holding problem. Well done.
