Torque Meter for a Morrill “Side Winder” rubber winder

I recently acquired a Morill sidewinder type
Rubber winder.  Is there a torque meter that
Can be integrated into the winding system?

You're a very lucky dog. I've been looking for one of those for many years. Couldn't afford them when they were new. If only I knew then what I know now haha. There are basic torque meters available out there you can use. Good luck.

Or FAI Model Supply regarding a torque meter
For my Morrill Sidewinder free flight rubber winder, I’m guessing
That for winding P30’s, I might need to display 20 to 30 maximum inch
Ounces. 
Are There any other sources???  Someone mentioned the these
Specific Torque Meters are not to difficult to make.  Are there
any drawings or schematics for making one?  Was there plans
Or an article regarding its fabrication?

The torque meter made for the sidewinder isn’t precise enough for p30. It was intended for larger motors and could go up to 120+ in/oz.  For p30 you want to top out at 15-16 in/oz.

I highly recommend BMJR.  It's a good price.  If your time is worth 50 cents an hour you will go backwards making your own.

If it doesn't have to be pretty, you can make a torque meter in a few minutes. It can have as few as three pieces: the face of the dial, a tube, and a bent up piece of wire. If you want to get fancy, you can use more than one piece of wire, and a plastic nose bearing in one end of the tube. If you want to get really fancy, you can make a plug for the other end. I'm sure the web will cough up drawings.
