Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get foam cores cut in the UK?
I've looked at BillKits but £65 for a pair of wings is a bit rich for me. I don't mind covering them myself and I'm not looking for anything fancy, only a semi-symmetrical profile for a trainer.
Thanks

Try Cloud Models here https://www.cloudmodels.co.uk/foam-wings
Doubt they will be any cheaper though and probably longer lead time as I know from Paul Bardoe (PB models classic aerobatic kits) that Cloud are stacked out with work at the moment.

You may find this alternative to foam core building interesting.  What is nice about it is the construction is faster than foam core.  Also cheaper as supplies might only cost £5 or maybe 10 depending on your source.  It's building using foam board construction.

In this video the builder (Experimental Airlines) explains the virtues of this method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJZoqGHAIDE

Some foam board construction can look ugly but the above video the builder shows how to make a good looking wing that is nicely curved.

I've just finished my cnc foam cutter and need some projects to try it out with, I would be happy to cut some for you
