I've acquired an old-timer (type) model. I'm sorry to say I know very little about this class of model. I'd like to learn what is the model or what it is modeled on. As a competition model it uses a 480 class engine on 3cell.

I've looked on some S.A.M. sites and while I get a large list of models I haven't found any visual ref. chart.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Closing the loop. It looks to be a Benny Box Car. This is a Henry Struck design and classified as an Antique by S.A.M.

Except for slightly different nose / engine cowling, looks a lot like "Simplex".

Try this. And as SAM 27 is close by to me, I hope to get some well versed pointers on how to set her up and fly her.
