That is an interesting looking model Dan and nicely done.

I don't think I would be adding washout to the tips as they will be effectively developing less lift than the root of the wing. Leave the wing flat and if the glide is very sluggish  - add equal length gurneys near both tips.

With such a long nose - you may find it is not so hard to balance it.

Happy flying.

Thanks John, appreciate the kind words.

I found this https://rcplanes.online/cg_calc.htm to use for calculating the CG. I figure plugging in the numbers, using minus for the main wing sweep, might get me in at least the same county as far as location goes. Then to find somewhere soft to chuck it out for a test glide.

But first need to get some clear on it and maybe a decal or two, at least with name and phone#.

Regards,
Dan

Yes that should certainly help Dan - go for at least 10% static margin. I would also advise doing a simple scale sheet wing/tail glider to verify the calculated CG. It will be worth the small amount of effort.

Happy flying.

Thanks John, I will hack together a 1/4 scale sheet glider and try that out first.
