This design originated quite a long time ago as a sketch, drawn by Ray Malmstrom. Sadly, he passed away a few years ago. Chris Strachan of the Impington club, who became the beneficiaries of Ray's designs, passed it to Al Backstrom who drew up the plan and this is the result. Well almost...........
I have changed the shape of the tip plates and added the miniscule stab atop the fin. Never could leave well alone
The span is 13" and the prop is a Czech Igra 5". No flight tests as yet. but the bed remained unscathed! No weight either, no scales.
