Is anyone aware of a source for the designs of modern F1B or F1G props? I am looking for design criteria for the not-truly-helical pitch types. I'd like to try my hand at making one and I want something a little better than the kind of layout used for a Gollywock or Korda. I have looked at the patterns for an old Beau Coupe prop but I hope there is a better source than trying to squish that sample into the size I want. All help appreciated. TIA David

I think there is not a single source that I can point you to unfortunately. But there are many articles on this subject in the NFFS Sympos: https://freeflight.org/library/complete-sympo-contents/
Look at Peter King's article in the 2010 Sympo for example. There are more excellent articles.
The other excellent source of technical info is the BMFA Free Flight Forum Technical Reports: https://freeflight.bmfa.org/forum-reports-contents

The NFFS Sympos are available as either hard copy or digital versions. I think the BMFA Forum Reports are only available as hard copy? (Don't know for sure).

Also, Mike Woodhouse has a very good booklet with lot's of prop design and fabrication methods: https://www.freeflightsupplies.co.uk/index.php/products/how-to-do-it-publications
I have a copy and it is quite useful.
