24" Span Hurrican (Hummingbird Kit)
«

Received Bernard's Hurrican kit a couple of weeks ago, and decided to build it. The kit I purchased comes with laser cut wood, printed tissue, etc. The wood is very, very nice and this is some of the kit printed tissue.

The laser cut parts fit perfectly, and did I mention the wood is very nice. The last pic is of the mostly assembled fuse.

Thanks for posting the printed tissue pictures! My home printer does not like printing tissue and neither do I. Having the option to buy it seems like a really nice feature. I'll remember hummingbird airplanes when I look for my next build project. I look forward to your Hurricane coming together.

Hmmmm…….. nice! I rather think I would need a few spare sheets of the printed tissue as I doubt I would be successful on one attempt throughout!

Interesting kit. Especially the already printed paper or fabric is impressive. This also makes the model nice and light. Will continue to follow the thread excited.
Have fun with the further construction.

Thanks Zip and Bernard. Have constructed the wing, but will add some diagonal stiffening. (Not sure it needs it; it's just me).

Nice looking set of bones Don. Your usual great craftsmanship. Looks like a very nice kit! I agree with the fellas, preprinted tissue
I've never been able to successfully print my tissue for a whole fuselage or wings. I shall enjoy following this build!
