The Sound Barrier, 1952 film

If you're into vintage jets watch this. Great footage of the Supermarine Attacker and Swift and the Vampire night-fighter.

Thanks Steve, I'll check it out  Smiley

Channel 4 has quite a bit of aviation content, I've just finished the Concorde doc:

...and just begun the first episode of Warbird Workshop: https://www.channel4.com/programmes/warplane-workshop/on-demand/73860-001

I'm just curious how they painted the camo on the Swift in mid flight. No wonder it was blown off after going through the sound barrier.

Well undoubtedly it was burnt off.  The paint they used at the time was pretty poor quality!
