Hello all, totally new to TLG.
Are you guys using normal HLG booms or are there TLG booms, plus where to get them ?
Thanks for any information.

This month's Free Flight News had a mention of carbon booms that Martin Dilly was selling for £7.00; not sure if that included postage. [email protected] was the contact.

Yes there are TLG booms... I sell them at hummingbirdmodelproducts.com - https://hummingbirdmodelproducts.com/carbon-booms/extra-stiff-carbon-booms-for-gliders

I had these made especially fro TLG by a manufacturer in China. They are much stiffer than a conventional "fishing rod blank" boom and so convert more of the energy of the launch to Altitude.

Note: if you order from me the item will not ship for a couple of months as I have just moved from Cambridge back to western Canada.
