I am curious... If a power flyer is using one of Texas Timers remote pinch off devices for the engine cut off... how does one reuse the remote pinch off on another model when the cable had been cut for the previous model to fit the length needed to the timer? Do you have to purchase another remote pinch off device? I would think the timer can't be placed the same distance on the existing model for the CG would not be the same.

 Thanks... just curious.

Craig, the easiest way is to purchase another RPO, but you can make your own laniard by using 12 or 20# braided steel fishing leader. What I am trying right now is to install a very small fishing snap on the end that attaches to the RPO and than you can make up the length as needed on the other end. If you want change the RPO to another plane just un-snap it from the RPO and transfer to other plane. Make sure that the Laniard that you've custom made for that plane stays with the plane or you'll have to make up another!!! So far it works for me.

Each plane gets it's own pinch-off.

When I move a pinch-off to another plane, I use a new cable. I have a chunk of 015 control line that I use.
