Mike I have to up my game at video. I know you are using a Go Pro, I have one but the wide-angle lens always fish-eyes the scene. Which Go Pro are you using? Using the iphone camera is OK for some things but model flight, I never know if the plane is still in the picture field...

My GoPro is a Hero 6.  I set the video on 1080P, 60hz, Linear for my flying sessions.  Linear FOV tames down the fisheye quite a bit.  BTW, I got a 107-second flight (along with a couple 80+ second flights) out of the RockyTop Spit at Hamilton two weeks ago - it flew great in the wind there.

That was good stuff Crabby. You don't mind really scaring your son - "watch out for the snakes" Smiley The Spitfire P30 is a nice flying model - you did add the DT I hope.

Had a good morning fly with my son James
(1) Twin fin terror
(2) FW 47d...This plane, I forget to back off on the winds. It is way overpowered here and it lost its majesty with all that power burst dive then tight circling. But that doesn't detract from the fact that is a danger to fly without a DT, You can see towards the end of the flight what a great flier it is... please shut off video before the last swoop and stick!
(3) Sparky. Here is a good loyal performer, but its gonna disappear on you about a quarter into its flight! I gotta learn a better way to video flights. I am gonna steal a GoPro from someone soon.

Fantastic flying! Nice open area, too. I lost a plane last night in a tree. Cry

Thanks for that Crabby. Nice flying area - even some Keil Kraft grass! The Sparky seems to deserve it's reputation - great climb. Your FW4y is a very stable flyer and flies well.

Model in a tree Jasco - no the Dolphin Smiley? Trees love models!

Thanks for checking in guys! I don’t get out to fly too often, and my piloting skills show it! No beef though I am just enjoying some time with my son, who is a remarkable flying buddy and maker of observations.
