Thanks for the kind words.  Peter's original flies even better. I need to tweak mine to get a straighter tow and I also need a bit more practice on the winch. Smiley

How do you tow? Is it an electric motor or hand winch?

Hand winch.  At Trinity can only use about 20 or so paces on the line, but it's enough to get a good idea of the flight characteristics.

I spent a nice few hours watching the activities at today's Bushfield indoor session.
I think I will set up a dedicated thread for the Bushfield 2021 to 2022 season. As it will be for reports from the meetings, I think it will sit better in this section rather than 'Event Announcements '?

Thanks Russ, and Luke! I’m honoured. Interesting that his goes left but mine was happier going right indoors and out. Classy wheels and I like the silhouette pilot too.

Nice flight of Pete's Bleriot design Luke. It is a good vindication of your original design Pete.

Trinity yesterday.  Some grainy newsreel footage from The Lurker Industries Kinematography Club.  You'd think that, working for such a successful company, the club could afford to buy a decent camera by now, but no.

Andy's  No-cal IL-2 Sturmovik
This is Andy's newest no-cal and it's still not *quite* trimmed to his satisfaction.

Doug Moore's Pilatus Porter.
Twenty years old and still flying perfectly despite in-depth scrutineering by a cat some years ago.

Tony Calvert's No-Cal F6F
This is the last half to 2/3 of the flight.

GM's CO2 "Thing"
A few stately circuits of another of G's OD precision made artworks.  It flies *forever* and it deserves a proper name.

And a snap of the BE2c aloft courtesy of Andy Blackburn.

Great videos Lurk thanks for those.

Doug's Porter was going very well

Is 'Thing' not a name? I quite like it - I shall always think of the model now as Thing...maybe adding a number to it would help ..Thing 1 perhaps

Nice NoCals too

I did think about coming but I had to stand in field today and get wet as part of the BMFA 100 WR - (as many aircraft in the air at 12:00pm) so couldn't really do another whole weekends flying - I'll stick some pics in 'went flying'

GM's CO2 "Thing"

Here! I say. Matron thinks you should cut down on the Dandelion and Burdock. Apparently it does no good to ones memory. Said "thing" looks mightlily like Ians A6 rubbery "Thing"

Nice filims though. Thanks!

G, you're right.  Too much of the Dandelion & Burdock. Hic.  Smiley

I thought I'd got film of your CO2 powered machine as well.  Bother!

Great flights, Lurk. Thanks for sharing, and that's a super shot of your BE2.

Is 'Thing' not a name? I quite like it...
About 40 years ago I saw a photo in a book (possibly an edition of Jane's All the World's Aircraft) of a strange US twin-engined homebuilt called "That Hudson Thing". I've never found it since.
