Printing of plans up to 42" wide by whatever length on high quality (90 gsm/4 mil) bond paper.
PDF originals preferred but I will work from just about anything.

$1.00 (CAD$) per sq ft (plus actual postage) + $1.00 for packaging & the trip to the post office.

Plans are mailed folded in a 10x13 brown envelope.
Rolled in a tube will cost extra.

I always do my best to clean up, square up and verify scale accuracy of every plan.

Email the plan(s) you'd like printed to me (include your mailing address).
I will provide you with a quote for the final amount and a link for sending the funds via PayPal.
Money Orders are ok too but that adds time to the process.
Printing will commence upon receipt of your payment.

I will personally attest to the very high quality of the work.  He has done a couple of plans for me working from pdf's and a jpeg.  The paper is Heavy weight paper and thick enough that I could use it for templates.  Well worth the money and you don't have to put up with the local Kinko's or whatever.  One further thing....he can print it to pretty much any size wing span you want. Smiley

And no, I don't get any kickbacks except the odd cup of coffee when I'm in the big city! Roll Eyes

Ratz was recommended to me by a “Top Notch” model builder. I had very high expectations. Mr. Ratz sure came through. The quality, paper and professionalism where totally outstanding. If your like me when I’m going to spend some time on a build I want to start with a “Top Shelf” set of plans. Do yourself favor and get you plans printed here.

I am a return customer.  I am very particular when it comes to printing work. I have found the printing work done here to always be outstanding. I can’t recommend this printer enough.

I just had a set of P-30 plans enlarged from a PDF.  They were enlarged exactly to scale and the paper and print quality are excellent.  Thanks Ratz!

Re Plan Printing,
I have just had two large plans printed from the Gallery by Ratz, one a blow up from a smaller size. Both plans arrived in 7 days, Canada to Oz and are of top quality. Considering the work involved, (the blow up resulted in several large sheets), the packaging, as well as the actual printing, the charges were more than reasonable. As a result of the exercise, I shall probably order the printed plans directly in future, rather than download them and get them printed locally.

Thanks Mike.

It's a shame that sending from Canada to OZ in a mailing tube was cost prohibitive. It pained me to have to fold those suckers and stuff them in envelopes. Hope the creases smooth out for you.

One other thing about the quality of these prints is they are so good that they make excellent wall art for those die hard modelers.  I have a large one hanging in my work room.  Too pretty.

Hi George,

There's got to be at least one plan you'd like to get your hands on. Even if it's just to hang on the wall in your workshop.

Perhaps there a number of smaller plans (too big for your own printer) that you would normally tile when printing and then tape together. We could print 2, 3 or 4 of them on one large sheet. Save you the hassle of taping them together.

The plan arrived at the postoffice saterday evening ,Pat picked it up about an Hr. ago and it looks
great !
I don't remember this bird being quite this large way back when ?
But that is most likely due to the length of time that has pased from then to now and my sometimers
getting in the way of my brain !
Thank you to much Dave now I know what my winter project will be X 5  Grin Wink

Glad to hear it arrived (fairly fast) and that you are happy with it.

Thanks again for having me print it for you.

I don't know if they are fast or not but at least it came in with out being destroyed in transit ,
Bill Brown (rip) sent me two models a couple of years ago befor he died and one came in perfect
but the other was 1/2 destroyed when I got it  :'( I tryed to have it replaced but our postal people
would not even answer me back on the subject) so I got the message if I wanted my mail to
come in in one piece I should give up the claim and shut up ? Huh I was a little peeved but left it go  Angry
It was not our post office that was at fault and I suspect it was the customs people that stuck
thier knoses in the box that destroyed the contents

Kudos to Dave for superior work!

Last week I ordered a plan enlargement of the classic 1937 Red Zephyr gas free flight.
The price for the printing was very reasonable, and the plan set was shipped from Canada
to my address here in California really fast. I'll certainly order again in the future.

Best regards,
Phil

Dave,

Thanks for the great print job on the Pilot QB 10 and Pilot Akromaster 20 plans.  Very quick processing and shipping and thanks for the extra work cleaning them up.  I will use you again for my next projects.

Joe

(with this website and others my project list I think is endless.... let's see I'm 45 years old and if I built 12 planes a year by the time I'm 70 and allergic to every known adhesive and wood, I will have 300 planes.  Enough to last the rest of my life....  Grin)

I just received my plan of the P-51H Mustang, from Dave, reduced to 1/2 in. = 1 ft. I compared it with a digital reduction I had done locally, and Dave's reduction matched it perfectly! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend his plan service to ANYBODY. And, I am very, very PICKY!

Dave sent me a set of plans for a project that was a custom job of a HyperBipe, and they were in color. The plans were on great paper, and the crisp line work was the best I have ever seen. Meanwhile different areas of the subject were hi-lighted in reds, greys as well as black for critical structure and the formers were redesigned and correct. This project was a colaberation in structure and design that we corresponded over for a number of years so you will find that Dave's ability to work with you in plans development will be good for your designs.  I will be looking forward to building this plane for my STG51 for spring standoff scale.

Thanks again Dave.
