Jack Bale Horten

These are just a sample of the over 200 photos I took of Jack Bales Horten as I constructed it.
It started out as the Go 229 V3 German fighter/bomber initially designed by Reimar and Walter Horten and designated to be built by Gothaer Waggonfabrik late in World War II.
About 1/4 of the way through the construction I decided to convert the plane to Reimar and Walter Horten's original Ho IX V2, which actually flew.  Gothaer Waggonfabrik was designated to put the plane into production, and made significant design changes to accommodate the larger Jumo 003-004 engines, and a few other changes, which the Horten brothers were not very happy with.
The plans I have are slightly modified, and will be uploaded, along with the construction pics, after being reviewed by Ratz.
As far as the model goes, it has been sitting for awhile, but it is on the finish line, at about 85% complete.
Some dislike Jack Bales plans (deceased), and rightfully so, but he modeled some really obscure planes, and deserves credit, and appreciation for his long hours, and artistry he put into his designs.  He had a very sad ending.
