Comet - Lockheed Pursuit Kit L8 - XP-38 - 37-inch Span
Description: Comet's original "Lockheed Pursuit" plan from kit L-8. Represents the nacelle/cowling and radiator configuration of the XP-38, and has an extra bay on the tip end of the wings bringing the span to 37". The partial kit I received did not have the printwood parts or patterns. Comparing this with the later Comet P-38 shows the wing ribs and center pod are the same. You'd have to craft new nacelle formers and the extra tip rib to build what's on this plan.
