I knew Larry Conover briefly. Always eager to help, but at the same time turning everything into a challenge or a contest.
Comparing our homemade silly putty timers, he challenged me to a contest of who's timer was more accurate for 2 minutes, the best 2 out of 3 would win.
One of the first few Hand launch gliders I made was his"Fanger MK III ". I was impressed with how much thought he put into his design.
