Richards article is written concerning Indoor Hand Launched Gliders, starts in December 1960. Of course, it also pertains to Outdoor Hand Launched & Catapult Launched gliders.
This should be of interest to anybody building and flying gliders.

The first three parts of this series discusses the history of indoor gliders. Starting with part 4 through part 7, Richard discusses design theory. And then breaks down the design theory into parts of the glider.

This series from Indoor News and Views was scanned to the Internet from original hardcopies. Then I copied them into a Microsoft Works Word processor, which made the original formatting different in size from the original in certain parts. I inserted some images that Richard referred to in the article and converted everything to a PDF. I hope this explains how wonky everything looks size wise.
