Bobcat - 1946 sport model
Description: Plan and article published in Aeromodeller

I don't think the Bobcat is a racer. But it definitely isn't stunt, scale, combat or trainer. The article claims it has gone 70mph on a spark engine, though.

It looks cool - perhaps inspired by the Napier-Heston Racer - but the construction seems horribly complicated. Using the outlines with simpler construction methods would create an airplane that makes people curious :)

Bobcat: Large racer!
There was an older gent with this model at an early contest (1951?) in San Jose, CA.
The model had opening upper and lower cowlings, completely 'serviceable'.
Most impressive, albeit complicated in its assembly design!
