Foreplane Incidence

Initial flight tests have shown that the incidence is way too much. I suggest reducing the foreplane angle to about 50% of what is shown and re-balance to get the glide back.

Interesting to see one flying

With this kind of design and lines must have been very impressive to see one of these airplanes passing overhead.

Kyushu Shinden

I am making another one for my grandson, but with a stronger fuselage. The combination of nose weight and a long unsupported nose create a weak point. I also tried decreasing the incidence on the foreplane and increasing its size by around 15%, which seems to work.

interesting design

I see this design interesting, it must fly very well, I'm going to do it because it uses little material ...

Suggested Modification

I was planning to mention enlarging the canard as mentioned by Michael, as I had one heck of a time getting mine to fly consistently. I added a strip of 1/8th to the leading and trailing edges and cracked in about 4mm dihedral to each side. Results were good.
