This was my first flying model

Thanks for posting. I have been wanting to build another just to hang in my cave. I still have the little taipan 1.5 glo that powered it. It would be a shame for these old models to disappear completely from our hobby. Brings back many memories of my youth.

The First Control Liner I Built.

The Mustang was the first control liner I built 1971, second model I ever built, I powered it with an Australian Taipan Tyro 1.5cc diesel. Flew it every weekend, flew it in club displays, and I even got caught in a rain storm once halfway through a flight, it was interesting, the Tyro started to run faster with the rain water getting in the venturi. Funny, I don't remember what happened to it, but I was given an almost complete model a few years back and have just about finished restoring it, even found a Tyro to power it with, should be fun to fly a Mustang again.
