This plan combined with the next one look the best performer to me. I was thinking that I'd need to modify the rudder design, then on page 7 there's a plan of New Gollywock, not as detailed as this one, but with the modifications I'd already been thinking about, but all 3 sets of plans are needed for an easy build. I was building rubber duration models in the 1970s and Gollywock is similar to a vintage plan I was given by the club free-flight champion in the 1980s, that I've spent 2 weeks searching high and low for in my over crowded garage. I intend this model to be the starting point for my Grandson's initiation into model flying.
