General Purpose Floats
Description: This is a simplified plan for general purpose floats. Note that I did not include any mounting hardware or mounting instructions. I also included only one float, as the two floats (right and left) are identical.

There is a very good .pdf describing mounting and hardware. Do a Google search for: "Top Notch float kit manual". (Or, you could simply buy their kit)

This float is 33.625 inches long. The drawing is full scale. There are two 8 1/2 X 11 sheets that are the patterns for the bulkheads.

I am using these floats on a 60 inch WS Taibi Powerhouse.

Balsa sizes

Oops! Looking at the drawing, I forgot to put the stock sizes on the drawing. If it is not obvious, the keel is 1/8, the stringers are 1/8 sq and everything else is 1/16 sheet.

One more thing:

Due to the design software and the way that I designed the CAD model, I can very easily and quickly scale up or down this design. I can change the size and the drawing in minutes. If you need a different size, PM me and I will e-mail you a new drawing.
