Built one back around 1982
I had one of these back in the early 80's in college. It built up really nice, great parts fit, but with all that plywood was very heavy. If I was to build it again (still have the plans) it would be all balsa with plywood in the normal locations. Mine was powered by an OS .20.

It would snap roll on takeoff unless a lot of speed was built up, worst ground looping Cub I've flown. I preferred to hand launch over ROG. Had to be flown way too fast for a Cub. If put on a diet I think it would be a good little plane.

As Billy in the Screaming Eagles at ERAU Daytona Beach once said, " Its the fastest damned Cub I ever saw".
