Aeroflyte Gemini Mkll
Description: An idea aileron sports model suitable for 40-50 four stroke engines for quiet relaxed flying, or for high performance with 35-40 size two stroke engines.

Extra credits for making this plan possible must go to JEM for the addition of a built up wing alternative plus some general guide lines for foam core panel construction. Reason for this is the Gemini Mk.ll sold as a foam core wing only kit where as the Mk.l was the built up wing.

I would also like to thank DECCA for his trust in loaning me the plan and build instruction booklet for scanning purposes.

Enjoy Steve.

Beautiful set of plans

I have a plan/instructionless Gemini II sitting half built in the garage for years. This will be ideal inspiration in continuing the construction. i love all these aeroflyte plans that have been uploaded over the years.

Cheers Bill

Cool aircraft

The original Gemini was a great aileron trainer... it was actually the first RC aircraft I built and learnt to fly with in about 1976. from memory it had the option of low wing or shoulder wing as well.

Great Plan

I am currently building one from a kit I have had for 25 years, needed the built up wing plan for when the original foam wing gets modified when running out of sky.

Rudder error on the plans.

This was my first R/C model back in 1992 and still flying today. Great in heavy wind conditions and fast landings. A few repairs/mods and a new fuselage so far.
One note of caution on the plans is that the rudder and nose wheel will turn in opposite directions if you follow the plan. What I did was use a heavy duty servo arm with two connection on the same arm. One connection closer in on the servo arm than the other. I also had to cut into the fuselage a bit to allow for the heavier/longer servo arm.
