Pretty darn cool

It appears that the cowl and wheel pants can still be had from the designer. How handy!

Parts can be had easily

from Fiberglass Specialties Inc.
Use the Andy Sheber 33% S1 Cowl, Clear Canopy and Wheel Pants. Using the canopy will clean up air flow and allow slower landings. Their canopy is a Byron clone. Spot on in shape. Make a balsa wing saddle and dry fit the wing to it. Then make the 3/8th inch ply saddle. The pattern as lifted off the plan is poor. redraw the top view using the original c/l. Just even it up. The plans should have been redrawn before publishing. So close. See if you can figure out why the top wing is 1/4 inch longer cord. It's a good strong model and with the laminationed tip bows and empennage it is a satisfying build. Robust 3/8th square spruce construction throughout it strong and intuitive.
