Oh Ho

Hey the wing plan or dimensions are not there in either of the plans...
This is plan one on balsa [fuse and tail ].
Would appreciate the wing which is missing...
Thanks

@ponappa

Cut a foam block 17 inches long. Place the root and tip templates on the block with the trailing edge of both templates flush with the back edge. Make both chord lines parallel (horizontal) with each other unless you wish to use the thinner tip template and include washout. In this case drop the leading edge of the tip .1 to .2 inches below the flat plane that would cut the chord line of both templates otherwise. Let me know if you need more than this. But if you know the length of the wing all you need is the tip templates to make the wing. You can even build a clipped wing version if you wish.

Additional thoughts on foam wings

BTW I have posted Ace r/c's instruction sheets and they will be showing up in the near future. I thought I would mention, that although I did not do it on this model, on models of this size I have applied 1/32 sheet balsa to the foam wing cores and skipped the other reinforcements Ace shows (fiber strapping tape for instance) I would only epoxy 1” glass tape at the center joint, and then apply monocote to the wing. This wing was very strong, and I don’t think it is significantly heavier, although I did not weigh the wings to compare.
