Original Intent
Description: A serious duration-minded Legal Eagle. It is set up like a small Manhattan Cabin model with big prop, lots of wing offset. Moderate rubber length; it gets its duration from light wing loading & low prop RPM. Consistent 7min+ in high ceilings, 5m in a smooth low ceiling where it can bump safely. I take a slightly different ‘angle’ on this event than some designers: I always orient my wing & fuselage on the diagonal. I believe that wing span is more important than length, so I lay in the wing first and then tuck the fuselage just as close to the diagonal as I can get it.
