Stringer Placement Patterns
Description: Several years ago, while working on scale drawings of a B-17D stick & tissue model - and wanting to have a uniform placement of stringers on the fuselage which also allowed for near scale placement of windows, etc., I created stringer placement patterns of various sizes. Recently I pulled out these drawings, and updated the labeling. They allow for stringers of 3 different sizes, and placements of 20 to 32 stringers. Of course, using only half of the 20 will give you 10 per cross section, etc.

I am submitting these patterns to any and all who would wish to use them. They have been a great help to me over the years, and work equally well with more oval shapes.

Please feel fee to use and share them.

Thanks, Ole Bill
